Funk Driving

Cracker - Low

Been out and about with not too many crazy dreams to speak of especially considering it's been so long and I've been so far from home.

I have a theory that you have more wild dreams when you sleep in any bed but your own, especially in a completely foreign land.  Perhaps its from not being as comfortable as you can be in your own bed, so your mind stirs up some crazy theories.

Sadly, last week when traveling I did not live up to my own theory, and had some passing dream that wasn't worth remembering.  When I got back though, seems that the flood gates have crashed open.

Picture opening your eyes and you are in the passenger seat of a car that is swerving all over the road.  You turn to the driver, and it's your 87 year old grandmother that has dementia.  Driving is not her strong suit in reality and in dream practice.  As if they knew that there was a danger on the road, tons of police cars are ahead lights flashing.  On cue, my grandmother skids the car into the bush by the cops and we get out.

As we approach the cops, we see they are all crouched behind their car and bam! shots are fired.  We dive behind a stone half fence as dust is kicked up by the bullets.  The danger hasn't left us yet.

Realizing this isn't going to end without some help, I hop over the fence and charge toward the shooters.  Like a movie, they fire at me but miraculously miss.  That is until I make eye contact with the main shooter and he mouth's the words "fall into rice" and a bullet impacts my stomach.  I fall forward, looking back to see if anyone has caught this.  But no one is there.
